LEAP Testing for 3rd-8th Grade Students: May 5-12

All students in grades 3-8 in the state of LA will be required to take LEAP tests (even those who are virtual learning).  Please plan to attend school in-person during these dates and take note of these important announcements:

  •      Students should arrive no later than 8:30 AM daily (or risk not being able to join the test session)
  •      Students (even virtual) will be picked up between 3:15-3:30
  •      Virtual students are not required to wear uniforms, but should wear a plain (without writing) polo or t-shirt and khakis, black, or blue uniform pants. NO JEANS.
  •      All students should wear a cloth mask, bring a water bottle, and bring a sweater or sweatshirt without writing (the AC can be chilly)
  •      All students must be in attendance every day
  •      The Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade in-person and virtual schedules are not affected—please attend school as normal as these students will have their own end of year tests to complete
  •      We strongly encourage students to leave cell phone at home, but if they must have it, they should be prepared for it to be collected and stored during testing
